February 2018 - During NYC Fashion Week, we were proud to make a young girl's dream come true--a behind the scenes tour, showroom visit, and Q&A with a NY designer during one of the biggest weeks of the year. We were introduced to Ryann through our client, Casey Cares, and set up a trip for her family to meet the founder of Danielle Nicole handbags, in NYC. January 2018 - AKCK joined Mr. Stuart Varney--on the top-rated Varney & Co.--on the FOX Business Network. The married pair talked about balancing a personal and professional relationship, the would-be political distractions at the Games, and their post-Olympic plans for the future.
3 Grand Openings &pizza...
December 2017 - As the calendar year was winding down for most, we were still in a full sprint, as we spearheaded the opening of three consecutive brick and mortar locations for our client, &pizza. Each location--Tysons, Adams Morgan, and Ballston--brought with it, a different media plan and execution strategy, based on the divergent foot traffic each site would draw. The hard work paid off and the openings were a huge success.
Olympic Biz on FOX News...
December 2017 - Doug Eldridge was back on FOX News to discuss the pending implications of a purported Russian Ban (which was really a slap more than a substantive sanction) and the growing instability on the Korean Peninsula, with the Olympic Games set to begin just one month from today. Doug spoke with Neil Cavuto and traded counterpoints with Charlie Gasparino.
Brand Dev Israeli Cycling...
December 2017 - We are pleased to announce that Achilles PR will serve as the exclusive brand development agency for the Israeli Cycling Academy--the first pro cycling team ever based out of Israel. Over the last three years, the program has seen meteoric growth and is now poised to start the iconic Giro d'Italia in May 2018. The Italian Grand Tour, which covers 2,000mi and spans three weeks, is set to start in the historic narrow streets of Old Jerusalem and conclude in Rome.
Halapio's 1st NFL Start...
November 2017 - On Thanksgiving night--in a primetime game against the Washington Redskins--our client, Jon Halapio, made the first start of his NFL career. It was a poetic moment for all of us: Doug and Hilary were first introduced on that sideline in 2009, Doug proposed there in 2015, and on that evening--when a client made his first start--their son, Alexander, made his first trip to that special sideline where it all began. (The Big Guy was zonked out before kick-off.)
