Achilles PR // Who We Are
Achilles PR is a strategic public relations firm, based out of Washington, DC. We specialize in media management and placement, crisis communications, integrated marketing, strategic partnerships, and long-term brand development.
Our clients, past and present, have included: athletes, personalities, start-ups and established brands, non-profits, for-profits, campaigns, and events, across a competitive local, regional, national, digital, and social marketplace.
// Our Story
Ten years ago, Doug Eldridge formed Achilles PR as a free-standing commercial counterpart to the DLE Agency, a nationally-recognized sports management firm. In that time, Doug has consistently produced top-tier, strategic media placements for Achilles PR clients across: cable & financial news networks, national newspapers, monthly magazines, endemic trade publications, native digital outlets, regional TV channels, syndicated radio programs, high-traffic podcasts, in-person event management, red carpet publicity, and front row prominence.
// Our Work
At Achilles PR, we take a measured, strategic approach to public relations planning and execution. From the set of the Today Show, to the green room at FOX News, to the pages of the Wall Street Journal, to local news affiliates, to the cover of the hometown paper, we believe in a tiered engagement strategy in order to maximize leveraged exposure for our clients. At Achilles, we believe you must be selective in knowing when, where, and how to tell the client's brand story.
// Updates
It was a busy summer for Achilles PR and our clients, culminating in 21 media appearances, and capped off with Cord Thomas, CEO of SkyRun Vacation Rentals, discussing Labor Day travel with Neil Cavuto, on FOX Business. If the summer was any indicator of the fall, it's going to be a busy season!
