Achilles PR: Updates
NoVa Magazine | Profile
MAY 2019 - We were honored to be featured in the May 2019 issue of Northern Virginia Magazine. Each month, the popular DC metro publication picks a different working family to profile in the "Family Spotlight" section. We sat down with the creative team to discuss what it's like balancing a busy client roster, an energetic toddler (Alexander) and a family-owned business, at home, at the office, on the road, and on the go. Many thanks to NoVa Mag for including us!
New Client | YRU
APRIL 2019 - We are proud to welcome Yellow Ribbons United to the Achilles family. YRU is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, focused on bridging the gap between military service and civilian life by encouraging Americans to express their appreciation for military families through civic and social action. We look forward to working with Emma & Derrick Dockery, in support of these deserving military families.
FOX | NFL Draft
APRIL 2019 - We joined our friends at FOX Baltimore, to break down the 1st Rd of the 2019 NFL Draft--from the picks, to the media coverage, to the integration of social media within the live broadcast, as well as the overall business of football. This year, the NFL is celebrating its 100th season and what started as a game and later became a sport, is now a $14B juggernaut industry in the U.S. and beyond.
ABC 7 | Opening Day PR
FOX Business | Tiger's PR
APRIL 2019 - The day after Tiger's iconic, come from behind, win at the 2019 Masters, we were in-studio with FOX Business to discuss the evolution of Tiger's brand--from emerging phenom, to bulletproof champion, to the spiraling meltdown and public divorce in 2009, to the lost sponsorships, to the injuries and surgeries, to the triumphant victory at the most famous tournament in all of golf. Many thanks to Mr. Neil Cavuto for having us on!
Launch Event | Lux Tempus
APRIL 2019 - On a picture perfect spring evening in Washington, DC, we organized a private launch event for Lux Tempus Beauty, along the back terrace of the historic Omni Shoreham Hotel. With cherry blossoms in full bloom and rows of fresh tulips everywhere you looked, the guests were treated to food, drink, discussion, and limited edition items from the newest LTB collection.
MARCH 2019 - This year marked the earliest Opening Day in MLB history. On March 28th, each of the 30 teams in the league were on the field to kick-off the season. We joined Julie Wright and the gang at ABC 7, to discuss the Nationals' marketing and public relations plan as they start the first season without fan favorite and perennial All-Star, Bryce Harper. Thanks to the Good Morning Washington production team for having us on!
