On Golf Channel...
August 2017 - Last summer, we worked to put three-time U.S. Olympian Casey Eichfeld across every page, screen, stage, and platform possible. From US Weekly, to Today Show, to W. Magazine, to Interview Magazine, to BuzzFeed, to USA Today, and beyond. We were happy to work with the amazing team at Golf Channel to coordinate an on-water workout with Casey and their anchors for a segment that ran on Morning Drive, when the PGA Tour visited Charlotte.
Inaugural Halapio 3-Point...
July 2017 - Two days after the 4th of July, we headed down to St. Petersburg, FL for the Inaugural Halapio Three-Point Football Foundation. Created with NY Giants OL, Jon Halapio--through our partnership with DLE Agency--the inaugural edition of the youth camp was an absolute hit. "I never thought I'd be standing in front of a field full of kids who came there just to hear me speak," said Halapio. "This is as inspiring as it is humbling." Way to go, Jon!
The 3rd AD47 Academy...
June 2017 - For the third consecutive year, we proudly worked with our strategic partner, the DLE Agency, to manage and market NFL DB Akeem Davis's 3rd Annual AD47 Football Leadership Academy, in Laurel, MS. The program is run in partnership with the NFL Foundation and USA Football. Once again, all 100 slots were filled and despite unrelenting downpour from Tropical Storm Cindi, the field was full of 100 kids (ages 8-12) eager to learn football technique and proven life values.
On FOX Business...
May 2017 - Just 24hrs after Alexander was born, Doug was in-studio with Neil Cavuto on FOX Business, to discuss the details and brand-side impact of the overnight DUI arrest of Tiger Woods. Doug addressed the public relations impact on Woods' iconic (albeit struggling) public persona and how best to move forward from a crisis comms standpoint. Hilary and a sleeping Alexander watched the segment from the private room at Virginia Hospital Center.
We welcome Alexander...
May 2017 - On May 29th at 0332, Doug and Hilary proudly welcomed Alexander Loflin Eldridge to the Achilles PR family! He entered the world smiling (literally) and checked in at an impressive 8lb 9oz and measured 22in. Momma is healthy, Baby is happy, and Daddy is still on his knees thanking the Good Lord for the beautiful blessings surrounding him.
Media shoot in Hollywood...
April 2017 - It was a busy spring for the Achilles client roster, culminating with a two-day media shoot with NBC & Team USA, out in sunny Hollywood. We joined U.S. Olympian, Tucker West (luge) and U.S. Pairs Figure Skating Champions, Chris & Alexa Knierim for a photo, video, and digital shoot, in view to the 2018 Winter Olympics, next February. After seeing some of the preliminary cuts, we are so excited for the rest of the country to see and share in their journey!
